I think this will sum up my Hauntingly Favorite Month: So I just got an email from a local cemetery asking if I wanted to meet up tomorrow "To Start Planning For the End". I responded with, "Unless you are a Haunted House/Ghost Tour having a laugh with an epic marketing pitch I'm not interested." They responded with "Nope, we aren't haunted, but appreciate your humor. We'll take you off the list." Man they aren't even trying to sell their cemetery well. "Not Haunted" my ass It is also Tessa's favorite month, but that is because she likes to eat

September was a busy month! We moved into a new office this month at work. I miss the old 100+ history of our last office, but now I have a view of the mountains from my desk! View this post on Instagram New office! I can see mountains! A post shared by Lili (@liliontheloose) on Sep 4, 2018 at 9:15am PDT Its been years but I made it back up to Estes Park for the Scottish/Highland Festival. I really enjoyed the parade, but the rest of the festival is much smaller than I remember it use to be.
The month of April was a month of Culture for me. I visited museums, saw plays, and laughed along with comedians. So let's dig in on the best memories! Early in the month I saw Degas: A Passion for Perfection at the Denver Art Museum with a wonderful friend and her daughter. It was an interesting exhibit showing Degas' contemporaries and influencers in relation to Degas' own work. From horses, to naked ladies, to the famous ballet dancers. Source Then I saw the Broadway version of Aladdin. I've seen a few different Disney plays some good (Lion King)
Source Another year older! Another year to post dinosaur photos! This one has a funny backstory to it. The artist was imagining Jurassic Park as a children's book, and did this drawing to show why it had a tummy ache! Too much birthday cake! Also, really relevant this year, as my weight loss this month has been a bit derailed by birthday treats. Ah well next month I'll get back to it!
December was a really weird and busy month for me. I had two business trips and a personal trip, making me travel all over the country. And it was a busy month for work, which is unusual this time of year. So I didn't get into the full Christmas spirit that I usually do. I did manage to put up and light my tree, but lost out of time and energy to decorate it besides a few ornaments I got this month during my travels. Travel When I first started doing these recaps I based it on the variety of
Fall is my favorite season! Here are some reasons why! It's time to go back to Hogwarts! And this year was the year of "19 Years Later..." Halloween Decorating can start! I was excited that Dino Skeletons are big this year. (Tessa is not a fan.) And it's soup weather! (Or at least it should be. It was 80 degrees when we went to go get ramen.) And its the best time for farmer's markets and visiting my college town of Boulder. Recommended Reading Lili on the Loose This month I recalled some of 2016's fall memories like this beautiful fall
