So... I may have gone a little overboard this month. I decided I wanted to do more this year. See more museum exhibits, go to more events, things like that. So I spent the better part of a morning like most people in Denver trying to get Hamilton tickets...and failing. So instead I booked the following activities for this year: Aladdin Book of Mormon Degas at the DAM Dead Sea Scrolls at DMNS Lewis Black Steve Martin & Martin Short Oh and I booked a trip to LA to see the King Tut exhibit (in addition to numerous other famous

Triceratops ate too much Birthday Cake

Source Another year older! Another year to post dinosaur photos! This one has a funny backstory to it. The artist was imagining Jurassic Park as a children's book, and did this drawing to show why it had a tummy ache! Too much birthday cake! Also, really relevant this year, as my weight loss this month has been a bit derailed by birthday treats. Ah well next month I'll get back to it!

Seeing as many museums as I could in Washington, DC Swimming with sharks in Belize Racing golf-carts on Caye Caulker Making

Today is my birthday! Last year I was celebrating my first week at my job and had the day off (For President's Day) but didn't do anything as my parents and sister were out of town. I also was busy trying to put things into storage so I could sell my condo. So I literally spent my birthday packing away my life. Not sure what this year will hold but I'm excited to find out. I also love triceratops! A few years ago I found the cutest Birthday Triceratops. This year I found an entire set of Dinosaurs as yummy

Travel Missteps: A Smashing Good Time

Some travelers are against “All-Inclusives” since the best part of going to a foreign country is to experience the local culture first hand and that’s nearly impossible to do behind the secluded walls of the resort. But even in this type of setting, sometimes you are surprised and can experience the local culture in unexpected ways. At least, that is how we now look at my mother’s birthday while staying in an All Inclusive resort in Rivera Maya, Mexico in 2003. A relaxing beach in Mexico. It was a relaxing trip. Full of hanging out at the beach,
