The start of this month was stressful for obvious reasons. Instead of Election Day, we'd have Election Month. I had been worried about supply chain issues so I made sure to get stocked up prior to election day, including two small turkey breasts. One for my parents, and one for me if we went into lockdown and I'd need to do a solo-turkey-day. I also picked up some distractions including a new Steiff Triceratops, some more craft kits, some new Tiki mugs, and some shelves. Yes, shelves. I decided to take a few days off after Election Day since I

I tried to keep the month more low key. I added more automated lights and plus to my smart home setup and then mostly started experimenting with watercolor paints (I'm pretty bad at the moment.) I also got this amazing Hogwarts light up Christmas Sweater:   View this post on Instagram   Geeking out over my new Christmas Sweater! A Hogwarts one with lights! December was a really weird and busy month for me. I had two business trips and a personal trip, making me travel all over the country. And it was a busy month for work, which is unusual this time of year. So I didn't get into the full Christmas spirit that I usually do. I did manage to put up and light my tree, but lost out of time and energy to decorate it besides a few ornaments I got this month during my travels. Travel When I first started doing these recaps I based it on the variety of

Its finally the start of summer! This month was also fun that my company Wayin acquired another company (Engage Sciences) and so its been great to meet all my new co-workers! Travel Santa Fe, NM This month I went on a quick road trip to Santa Fe, NM. I had been back in the 90's as a child, but didn't remember much of it. I didn't plan anything for this trip so I mainly just walked around the main square and shopped. It reminded me a lot like the square in Antigua, Guatemala, and I had fun shopping for rough

Some of my favorite Travel Bloggers do a monthly re-cap of what occurred in the last month. True to form (I fell in love with this blog due to their detailed expense reports) Living the Dream details out their income reports and business plans. Twenty-Something Travel always has some great blogs that they've read or written in other places. And Adventurous Kate gives a summary of everything she did and was up to over the course of the month. I had generally shied away from doing a monthly re-cap because I wasn't like those other bloggers where I was traveling
