This was a weird month. I didn't feel very Christmasy even though I did a lot of Holiday things. I think it was the weather. We didn't get snow until December 31st. Rocker Santa Isaac Joe Dave This month I went to a The Fray concert. I went alone for the first time, but still managed to get front row, but a little left than center that I would normally get. I had so much fun! Sadly didn't score a setlist this time. Tessa turned 10 years old! How is that possible!

I tried to keep the month more low key. I added more automated lights and plus to my smart home setup and then mostly started experimenting with watercolor paints (I'm pretty bad at the moment.) I also got this amazing Hogwarts light up Christmas Sweater:   View this post on Instagram   Geeking out over my new Christmas Sweater! A Hogwarts one with lights! Fall is my favorite season. Its also Tessa's as she loves to eat leaves:   View this post on Instagram   It's going to snow tomorrow so made sure Tessa got to do her favorite fall activity: leaf eating. A post shared by Lili (@liliontheloose) on Oct 13, 2018 at 3:07pm PDT What's new this month is that I discovered Bullet Journaling this month. Essentially it's using a journal as a productivity tool with some art thrown in. Of course, that meant many trips to craft stores, and discovering AliExpress (and buying way too many .10 stickers and washi tape.)

September was a busy month! We moved into a new office this month at work. I miss the old 100+ history of our last office, but now I have a view of the mountains from my desk!   View this post on Instagram   New office! I can see mountains! A post shared by Lili (@liliontheloose) on Sep 4, 2018 at 9:15am PDT Its been years but I made it back up to Estes Park for the Scottish/Highland Festival. I really enjoyed the parade, but the rest of the festival is much smaller than I remember it use to be.

So apparently along with losing weight, not eating Wheat has given me tons of energy. I re-organized my entire house. Let me say that again. I re-organized my entire house! When my sister moved out 2 years ago, I never really put anything back into the spare room. (Partially because I couldn't move furniture by myself.) But now? I HAVE MY OFFICE BACK! When I got this place, I wanted a 2nd bedroom for a massive 11 foot desk for work/craft/tv space. I also wanted my library organized, and my lego closet back. It looks amazing! (Although my dog is

Not much happened this month. I randomly saw the Dandy Warhols when a work dinner ran WAY late and the restaurant turned into a concert venue: I also attended Digitial Summit and saw Chelsea Handler: And after years of reading The Everywhereist and MOZ's Whiteboard Friday for YEARS I got to see the infamous Rand in person: But overall it was a pretty quiet month. Another whirlwind month done! First up I went to CU's Colorado Shakespeare Festival to see Love's Labor Lost. We had a lovely picnic before the show, and it was an interesting play I hadn't seen before. Picnic by flute. A post shared by Lili (@liliontheloose) on Jun 9, 2018 at 6:03pm PDT Then I went to the Denver Museum of Nature and Science to see the Dead Sea Scrolls exhibit. This was hands down the most beautiful and horribly laid out museum exhibit I've ever been to. Small objects in tight single person view windows. Lots of text only at 5.5 foot

Last month was a whirlwind of culture and travel, so this month I was pretty much just recovering. About the most interesting thing I did was go to a Rockies game with my co-workers. I was supposed to go to a "Mr. Holland's Opus" style retirement party for my middle school band director (in fact I'd been practicing clarinet for 2 months) but I became really sick in May and was out of commission for weeks. :( Work rockies game!! The month of April was a month of Culture for me. I visited museums, saw plays, and laughed along with comedians. So let's dig in on the best memories! Early in the month I saw Degas: A Passion for Perfection at the Denver Art Museum with a wonderful friend and her daughter. It was an interesting exhibit showing Degas' contemporaries and influencers in relation to Degas' own work. From horses, to naked ladies, to the famous ballet dancers. Source Then I saw the Broadway version of Aladdin. I've seen a few different Disney plays some good (Lion King)
