I tried to keep the month more low key. I added more automated lights and plus to my smart home setup and then mostly started experimenting with watercolor paints (I'm pretty bad at the moment.) So... I may have gone a little overboard this month. I decided I wanted to do more this year. See more museum exhibits, go to more events, things like that. 2017 was a busy year for me. I got in 4 trips, 175 blog posts, and lots and lots of Netflix. If you find yourself at Universal Studios for the holidays be sure to try out the offering at the Three Broomsticks: the special Christmas Dinner. It is a turkey and stuffing dinner, with roasted potatoes, pig in a blanket, braised cabbage, and a mix of roasted veggies and chestnuts, with a spiced citrus cranberry sauce. I really enjoyed the veggies and the flavor of everything was really nice. I also got the Toffee Pudding, which was delicious and complimented the hot Butterbeer well. But be warned it is very sweet, so the ice cream is definitely needed to calm the flavors. I

For the next few weeks I'm going to share my favorite candy you can get at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter! These two items can be purchased at Sugarplum's Sweetshop in Diagon Alley, I don't recall these being mentioned in the books, but they are really good. I was in Orlando around Halloween, so when I saw these Carmel Cobwebs I thought this was perfect for the season. I was sad that this box seemed simplified compared to the ornate designs of other candies. But I was so wrong. These are amazing. They taste lightly of caramel and possibly white
