June was a very busy month for me! I once again attended the Colorado Shakespeare Festival and this year saw Twelfth Night! Later in the month, I saw Fiddler on the Roof which was so moving! I also took my first day off in a while to have a fun Spa day! I've always wanted to see Eddie Izzard, and managed to get a ticket to see him. He was hilarious and one of the best comedians I've seen. So glad I was able to see him this tour. I had two really good museum days. The first was seeing

Travel Missteps: Meow Wolf Dreams

One Christmas Eve in 2017 I found myself overwhelmed by the spectacular immersive art exhibit called Meow Wolf, House of Eternal Returns. It's hard to describe. You start by being told the Charter, a sort of government organization investigating a family and their home due to portals to other worlds that have opened up in their home. As you wander the exhibits Charter minders and lab assistants monitor you. I explored this place for hours. There are no maps or instructions, you just wander around. Maybe you hit a wall and it makes music. Press a button and lights change. Duck under a

Another whirlwind month done! First up I went to CU's Colorado Shakespeare Festival to see Love's Labor Lost. We had a lovely picnic before the show, and it was an interesting play I hadn't seen before. Picnic by flute. A post shared by Lili (@liliontheloose) on Jun 9, 2018 at 6:03pm PDT Then I went to the Denver Museum of Nature and Science to see the Dead Sea Scrolls exhibit. This was hands down the most beautiful and horribly laid out museum exhibit I've ever been to. Small objects in tight single person view windows. Lots of text only at 5.5 foot

2017 was a busy year for me. I got in 4 trips, 175 blog posts, and lots and lots of Netflix. Here are my highlights for the year: Travel All my trips this year were really last minute (at least to me) trips. I booked my Costa Rica/Panama trip about 2 months in advance, my LA/Anaheim/Irvine trip was very quick, same with Charlotte, and Santa Fe, NM I only planned one activity. So it was a weird non-planned year for travel. I'd never thought I'd... Travel to 3 different places, on different trips, in one month. In December I had

December was a really weird and busy month for me. I had two business trips and a personal trip, making me travel all over the country. And it was a busy month for work, which is unusual this time of year. So I didn't get into the full Christmas spirit that I usually do. I did manage to put up and light my tree, but lost out of time and energy to decorate it besides a few ornaments I got this month during my travels. Travel When I first started doing these recaps I based it on the variety of
