I use to collect shot glasses everywhere I went. Back in my college days I'd even use them! In 2014 we were determined to have a perfect view of the Coronado's Independence Day Parade. The year before we woke up too late, and had to stand at a corner, craning to see. So my father had gotten up early, and staked out premo places outside of our hotel so we could see the parade in comfort. We had picked up beach chairs the day before, had a cooler of food, blankets, and ample sunscreen. We were prepared! And it was a perfect spot! We watched as floats and military bands went by. I wish Colorado had an ocean, as I love living here except for that one oversight. So instead I must enjoy the beach when I get a chance to visit.
