Years ago, I made my own custom Lightsaber at Disneyland. So when I went to Disney World (Disney's Hollywood Studios to be exact) I debated on if I'd get another one. But instead, I was entrapped by this fun area where you could build your own Droids! I spent much longer than I care to admit looking for matching legs for these two droids (before realizing there was a larger station behind me.) But I liked how they turned out. Travel Missteps: Personal Time with TSA

I've talked about triggering the ETD system before, as well as getting the SSSS on almost every trip I fly. But there is light at the end of the tunnel. In May 2016, after reading all those articles of massive lines at TSA checkpoints (which disappeared later on in the year) paid $100 to apply for Global Entry and TSA Pre-Check. Travel Missteps: Running Around the World

I thought it would be a brilliant plan. After work, I'd run over to Epcot for their Food and Wine festival and get some dinner. Earlier that day I was able to get a discounted conference ticket ($75) for Epcot, a steep admission just to get dinner. I was also able to snag some last minute fast passes, one for Turtle Talk, another for Mission Space, and lastly one for the premium viewing spot for "IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth". It would be the first time going to Epcot (or Disney World for that matter) since I was 4 years old.

June 2016 Recap

I mostly stuck to local activities this month. I went and saw the broadway show Beauty and the Beast. The costumes and songs were well done, but the jokes were a bit jarring. I forgot that it was mostly aimed at children, so the jokes had to be explained very clearly so the kids could get it. But it was still fun. I also went to the Denver Flea with my friend Roma. We went last year, but this year it was so much bigger! It was a hot but fun day. I ended up getting some Hibiscus drink mixer and tangerine-rosemary lotion.

I've written before about my dash through Disneyland, but wanted to show you the awesome lightsaber I built! This is the lightsaber when its "retracted". There is a button that activates the sound and light, and you kind of just throw it upwards to make the lightsaber come fully out. I picked purple as its my favorite color! After you select the base hilt (and if you wanted a double bladed lightsaber) you then select the color, and then select the various hilt customizers. Which Card Will You Get? Chocolate Frogs are an iconic snack from the Harry Potter books. They also are a great souvenir from the Wizard World of Harry Potter in Orlando, FL. I was a little worried as I had two issues when purchasing these. Firstly, it was August, and hot, and I worried that the chocolate would melt. In February 2010 I had already had a busy travel month by getting delayed twice in St. John, and once I arrived home I only had a few days to pack and get ready for a work trip to Anaheim, CA. On my first day in Anaheim it turned out I had a free afternoon. It was suggested I could "swim at the hotel" or go to the "welcome drink reception." But nagging me from my window was Disneyland. I worried if I headed to Disneyland that I'd get a call from my co-workers asking where I was, or some other emergency would
