Drop in a Pond
I'm amazed at these glass drops just floating on the water. Every Friday Lili shares her favorite photography & the stories behind the photos.

I saw "The Play that Goes Wrong" which was hilarious and the amazing stage tech they displayed was perfectly used! This month I also dealt with a variety of health issues. Nothing like calling emergency services in a snowstorm and being told, yes you really should come in, but no sorry, you'll have to make your own way there. The state I was in meant I couldn't drive in, so I spent a lovely blizzardly day feeling like I was dying. It's Ravenclaw House Pride Day! I've shared my Ravenclaw Robes before, but here are some of the other Ravenclaw items I got at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Souvenir Saturday is an every-other week series on the items that represent travel memories.
It will make for a cute photo, someone said, as I was handed a sheep. For a brief moment I cuddled with it, like it was a puppy. But the hungry animal saw my hair, and started eating it like it was grass. It wouldn't let go, and my mother continued to snap photos as I tried to figure out some way to get the sheep to stop or a way to set it down. The shepherd just laughed and laughed as the sheep snacked away. My hair felt pretty disgusting after that, but...the photos are pretty funny. Travel Missteps
I wrote about the time I was in Aswan, I got shown around by a local to "his family's stores" but ended up finding a wonderful shop that had everything I needed. One of those items was this beautiful bracelet with little moons all over it. I love it! Souvenir Saturday is an every-other week series on the items that represent travel memories.
The Iao Needle on Maui is beautiful and otherworldy. It was a misty morning, and then suddenly the Needle jutted through the clouds. Every Friday Lili shares her favorite photography & the stories behind the photos.
This month I dealt with some really bad Carpal Tunnel symptoms. I decided to get an expensive keyboard and mouse and that helped a lot. I also started to create Travel Scrapbooks with all of the stuff I've collected from my trips. Many, many, trips to the stationery stores and I finally had all the supplies to start the project. Lastly, this is my birthday month! So I decided to go to the Denver Aquarium for the day! Walking down an alley I stumbled upon these colorful facades. Every Friday Lili shares her favorite photography & the stories behind the photos.
Showing off my new cute sunglasses! I was happy to find them the day before because I had already had one pair of sunglasses break (and ducktape wasn't enough to fix them), and I had left another pair at a hotel, and lost another pair. So this is sunglasses number 4 for a short trip. And I loved these glasses. Cute, cheap, but still polarized! Of course, they didn't last long. I tried to hold onto them as we all hung out in the waves. All it took was a huge wave and bam they were gone. I was forced
