Happy Holidays! This year I did a bunch of events for the Holidays! From an Art Giveaway at Understudy from the artist Jonathan Saiz who you’ll remember from the Blue Chipped Vending Machine to decorating cookies with friends! (As you can see, we think alike! Dino Ugly Sweaters For the Win!)

I also went with my family to the Gaylord hotel to see the Holidaze Cirque performance:

And the Rudolph made of ICE. 9 Degrees and they give you a coat. It was interesting to see. I also went down a slide made of ice.

And on Christmas Eve we went to Camp Christmas at the Stanley Marketplace. It was magical:

Travel

I had a quick business trip to Minnesota, my first time there!

I had dinner at the Holiday decorated Mall of America:

And on the way back to the airport I caught a quick lunch in the Dino Hall of the Science Museum of MN:

Podcasts

Still working my way through the My Favorite Murder Podcast. I fear my neighbors think I’m nuts when I listen to it on my Echo around the house.

Watchlist

Usually, I watch a lot of Christmas Favorites and Hallmark movies but this year I  haven’t watched any. It’s not that I’m not in a Holiday Mood, I just…could recite every movie by heart at this point.

TV

I got Disney Plus on a whim because of Baby Yoda memes, and so I’ve been busy watching The Mandalorian as well as old childhood favorites like XMen Evolution and Gummie Bears. I’ve also been watching Legacies and Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. And I really did enjoy The Witcher but disliked The Crown.

I’ve had the “Toss Your Coin to Your Witcher” stuck in my head for ages.

The Imagineering Story was also amazing. Highly recommend.

Movies

I finally watched Die Hard. I had seen other Die Hards, but never the original. I am firmly in “Of course it is a Christmas Movie” camp.

I also saw Rise of the Skywalker which I loved. I just wish Last Jedi hadn’t sucked.

On Disney Plus I’m bouncing between old favorites and new ones like the new Lady and the Tramp.
