This was a slow month. We still had some major snowstorms and hail.

I also went to a Gluten Free Food festival and had a blast. Found a lot of new products to try out!

Other Blogs

Top two articles I read were these churches in Rome, and this great article a college friend, Becky, wrote on a Van Gogh Exhibit.

Books

After finishing the Book of Life, I read the spin off book Time’s Covenant. I had heard the person who does this audiobook was crap, so decided to read it on Kindle instead.

Audio Books

I finished the Book of Life, the 3rd Deborah Harkness book.

I started Let’s Pretend This Never Happened by Jenny Lawson, a random purchase. Fitting because the book is incredibly random.

Watchlist

TV

After the disaster that was Game of Thrones, I wasn’t sure I’d be continuing with HBO. But Chernobyl knocked it out of the park. (And the Barry episode with the little martial arts girl had my crying tears of laughter!)

And my favorite Devil, Lucifer, was back. It was saved from death by Netflix, and I really enjoyed this shorter season.

Movies

On a random reddit thread someone said their favorite movie was The Burbs with Carrie Fisher and Tom Hanks. Decided to give it a watch and it was a hilarious 80’s comedy.  The reddit poster was correct that the movie really was like all of those “teens find something unexpected/supernatural and try to uncover the truth while adults won’t believe them” trope…except with all adults.

On more serious movies I watched Patch Adams and The King of Thieves. I really liked King of Thieves!

On the way home from Atlanta I finally caught Ant-Man and Ant-Man and the Wasp. I think I just have a few Thor movies I need to get caught up on for the MCU.
