Local Art: The Art Vending Machine Built on Trust

In a world where we can have almost anything on demand, Fine Art is something still out of reach for many people. That is why I've been fascinated by so-calledΒ "Art Vending Machines", but had yet to see one in person. So when I heard about Blue Chipped an exhibit at Understudy in Downtown Denver, I had to check it out. I’m sitting inside this blue kiosk downtown from 4-8 pm TODAY πŸ’™serving up mini $20 paintings and 1 trillion calories of free blue candy and hot teas... you should come say hi to me through the kiosk windows! πŸ’™πŸ’™πŸ­πŸ’™πŸ’™πŸ΅πŸ’™πŸ’™πŸ­πŸ’™πŸ’™πŸ΅πŸ’™πŸ’™πŸ­ A

Glassy Blue Ice Spikes from Chihuly

In 2014, the Denver Botanical Gardens hosted an exhibit of Chihuly glass artwork. This was one of the first pieces, a massive glass sculpture of hundreds of blue spikes. Every Friday Lili shares her favorite photography & the stories behind the photos.
