August was such a busy month! I got to see the play Anastasia based on the 1997 animated film. It was one of the best done plays I’ve ver seen, I wish I could have seen it more times!
Continuing the Culture theme I saw Penn & Teller in Denver! I had seen them in Las Vegas before, so it was great to see them again. The show was different which was great to see other acts from them! I decided not to stay after to meet with them as I was pretty tired that day.
And then I went to the “Wizards Brunch” Dinner. This was actually not official, and wasn’t as grand or amazing as I hoped, and the dinner wasn’t that gluten free. But the other fans are what really made the event!

And at work we had our Summer Party at Horsetooth Reservoir where we rented a boat and swam around for a while.

I was recommended Dan Carlin’s Hardcore History, and picked King of Kings at random. This is a point of history I knew nothing about and man its fascinating.
