I’m still making my way through all my Egypt posts. My favorite this month were:

My other favorite posts this month were showing my Larimar jewelry from the Carribean, a photo of a protest at the Jefferson Memorial, and a highlight of the Bellagio Dancing Fountains of Las Vegas. Finally, I really enjoyed sharing my photos of Queen Amidala at the Denver Art Museum.

Travel:

This month was dominated by the PR disasters, the biggest one being United’s fiasco. I’ve got to commend the internet for the amazing amount of memes that they came up with, it sure was entertaining.

I loved this “Ultimate” Ultimate guide to Las Vegas, this list of Denver’s best breakfast places, these pretty photos of Budapest, dreaming of beaches in Seychelles, this list of 51 reasons to fall in love with Egypt, these gorgeous things to see in Japan, Italy’s underrated destinations, and Rick Steve’s 30 European Festivals list.

Other helpful articles I read was these in-depth tips to take the risk out of traveling and how to survive a plane crash. I also found this article really interesting that most UNESCO sites don’t have plans to combat overcrowding and overtourism. And I’m excited to see this Degas exhibit next year.

Geeky:

I liked the Jude Law Dumbledore casting announcement and appreciated these King Joffrey photoshops!

Watchlist

TV

I watched a lot of Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries and West Wing on Netflix, but was excited for Doctor Who to come back!

Movies

I finally saw Beauty and the Beast in theaters. I’m not sure how I feel about it compared to the animated version.

Also this month continued to watch a lot of Netflix stand up. Discovered Kathleen Madigan, and thought she was so spot on with her comedy.

May will again be light on travel, but I’m starting to do research on my Panama trip that takes place later in the summer.
