This month I was a series of highs and lows.

On the good front, I had a fantastic Girl’s Night with my friends. We went to a Wine and Painting night, and it was STAR WARS NIGHT. We painted the Death Star! I had so much fun! At one point, a guy behind me kept telling his friends “I want to just fucking spit on her painting. It looks so good I need to fucking ruin it.” With his friends hushing him and telling him that was wrong. I just smiled and was like “Damn fucking right.” And drank another drink. So much freaking fun.

The sad part of the month is my Grandmother Mary, who had been sick off and on last month passed away in March. I miss her terribly, and went back to Kansas for her funeral.

I also wanted to share one of my most prized possessions that my Grandmother gave to me, two books, Grimms and Anderson Fairy Tales. She gave me the first one as a child, and I read it over and over. Years later she found the 2nd book in the set and gave it to me. They are falling apart, but I love them so much.

Lastly, I wrote an in-depth article on how to prepare your home for travel that I’m pretty proud of.

Also, Hot Topic copied me on my Souvenir Saturday posts:
