In May I really started settling into this new life. Tessa and I went on many walks, with many many pinecones being brought back as trophies.

Of which Tessa was very happy.

I finally saw Mom and Dad for the first time. They came over for a socially distance “Let’s put Lili’s Bike together” and we gave up halfway through.
I also saw my friend Heather, she and her family came over to Jump my car when it died. (This would be the only time I saw a friend.)
I then drove to my parents. I had been adamant of not seeing anyone during COVID, but I was breaking down. So I’d go over in rare instances. I’d spend a lot of time out in the gardens taking photos of their beautiful flowers.

And we did a quick drive through of Estes Park and RMNP.

For home projects I stitched a cork Elephant. This was one of my favorite craft projects. Also, its stuffed with bottlecaps. I had been saving all bottlecaps during covid, so when I got to a step that was “load the legs with something heavy” in went the bottle caps!

I also did more Puzzles, specifically a box of multiple Star Wars ones. And got into Bird Watching. Well more sitting on my balcony with the dog. We saw an Owl during the day!

And I finished the deck with fake grass (which Tessa hates so I just lay on it), wood, and stone. I think it turned out well!

And lastly, for Memorial Day, I went with my parents to Dinosaur Ridge.

I’ve always wanted to go but never had a chance before. We walked the entire thing, I had listened to an audio guide beforehand so knew what we’d be seeing. I had so much fun, and was so tired when it was over.
Some things I watched:
- Restarted watching The Magicians
- The Letter for the King
Other Events in the World:
- George Floyd’s Death
- Murder Hornets
- SpaceX Dragon Launch
