This month was the three E’s at work. Elitches, Eclipse, Escape!

This month we had a company Elitches day (a local Denver theme park). I was worried that I’d be bored, as I don’t like most rides. But I had some great coworkers that got me to take baby steps with various rides before convincing me to ride a real roller coaster! First time ever in my life! I found if I close my eyes, its not bad at all. (Probably from all the dark jostling in the Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey ride!)

Then we did a morning with the eclipse! And yes, I’m wearing a Death Star eclipse shirt!I didn’t get many good shots. Below is a badly phone-through-glasses shot where you can see a chunk of the sun missing. Then a tree’s shadow with natural pinhole camera effect, and then a piece of paper with a pinhole photo. I really had expected it to get darker than it did. Next time I need to go somewhere in the totality.

And I had my two bosses in town. For teambuilding, we did dinner, drinks, and an escape room! (We didn’t escape…but it was a lot of fun!)

The next night we did drinks and bowling! And the following night drinks and dancing! It was a busy week!

Lili on the Loose

I’m slowly writing up posts from my latest trip to Panama, and this month talked about the Money Museum in San Jose Costa Rica, as well as being sick for most of my trip. More interesting stories are on their way!

In other travel memories, I realized it’s been almost a year since I blogged about my Egyptian Travelogue, so wrote another post. It’s slow going on those stories!

As I said earlier, I rode my first roller coaster, which reminded me of my trip to Dollyworld where multiple rides broke down. Wonder why I disliked theme parks when I was little…

And I enjoyed listing out museum related subreddits, and sharing one of my favorite photos from Hawaii.

TV

This month I mostly just watched Game of Thrones and 30 Rock. Although I was bad and watched the leaked GOT episode a few days early, and then had to keep my mouth shut of how awesome of an episode it was until my co-workers could watch it! I love this fan made trailer for it:
