This month wasn’t too exciting, unless you count having an allergic reaction to pine nuts which turned everything I ate for 2 weeks to have a bad metallic taste.
Travel
I stayed local this month, which this time of year is beautiful in Colorado. I drove up into the mountains to experience the lovely fall aspens and managed to see an early snowstorm as well.

These are some of my favorite posts that I wrote in September.
- Early Morning in Edfu – I’m slowly continuing my Egyptian Travelogue series and enjoyed recounting my morning seeing the magnificent temple at Edfu.
- Caye Caulker Sunset – I snapped this while driving a golf cart around the tiny island of Caye Caulker while trying to win a scavenger hunt. It literally was just a second before I hit the gas, driving across bumpy potholes, so I’m glad it turned out nice!
- The Pickpocket in Paris – When learning a language, you get excited for the moment when you can understand the conversations going on around you. For me, it was understanding when a woman and young boy were talking about robbing my family on the Metro.
- Antigua Ruins: Santiago Cathedral – It was strange wandering around the ruins of this massive Cathedral complex. I couldn’t wrap my mind around the fact that it probably took years to build it, and only a few earthquakes to tear it down.

- Dinosaur Prints Found at Low Tide – ABC – I almost didn’t believe this story at first, that many dinosaur tracks were found at low tied, but as incredible as it is its true!
- Embarrassing Stories from my Travels – Legal Nomads – With my own Travel Missteps series recounting all my travel mistakes its fun to hear from other Travel Bloggers when they have their own embarrassing stories.
- Arial Footage of Boulder, CO – Daily Camera – This stunning drone video might actually be illegal, enjoy it while you can!
- The World’s Weird Snorkeling Spots – CNN – I love to snorkel and so it was cool to read about unique snorkel spots.

Watchlist
TV
I binged watch Law and Order SVU and Galavant in September on Netflix. This in turn lead me to get the entire Galavant Soundtracks and listening to them on repeat for the entire month. (It was hard not to sing along on the bus!)
Movies
I got a head start on Halloween by watching Practical Magic, Adams Family, and Hocus Pocus.
