Its finally the start of summer! This month was also fun that my company Wayin acquired another company (Engage Sciences) and so its been great to meet all my new co-workers!
Travel
Santa Fe, NM
This month I went on a quick road trip to Santa Fe, NM. I had been back in the 90’s as a child, but didn’t remember much of it. I didn’t plan anything for this trip so I mainly just walked around the main square and shopped. It reminded me a lot like the square in Antigua, Guatemala, and I had fun shopping for rough stones to make into jewelry.
I also made it over to Museum Hill and saw a lovely Turquoise Exhibit.
And of course visited the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum.
Overall it was a nice leisurely trip!

Lili on the Loose
I actually got way behind on blogging on my Egypt trip, to the point I didn’t have any Egypt posts this month. But I did get a lot of posts done from my recent Las Vegas trip!
- Springtime at Bellagio’s Botanical Garden – I was lucky to stumble upon the garden at midnight when it was closed off for professional photos. And I was able to angle my camera to take some gorgeous shots as well!
- Showtime in Las Vegas – I really enjoyed seeing so many shows on my recent trip!
- Isaac Slade of The Fray at Boulder’s Fox Theater – I busted out some of my old concert photography for Photo Friday.
- Ocean Waves Under a Moonlit Sunset – Its always so hard to take photos of the moon, and while this isn’t perfect I love how it turned out.

Watchlist
TV
Still into the same old shows. Game of Thrones, The Americans, The Blacklist.
Movies
On my road trip I watched two Amazon Prime Movies that were great time fillers: Hot Pursuit and Ides of March. Â On Netflix I got into some stand up comics, like Patton Oswalt, Don Glover, and watched Gervais’ Special Correspondents.
Gaming
I did a little Assassin’s Creed gaming again, but only sparingly.
Food
My attempts at cooking failed rather spectacularly this month. But then again, when you are thinking that your “Freezer Food Casserole” recipe (which is essentially trying to use up what’s in the freezer or pantry) is going to be good when you forget to thaw ingredients you are sort of setting yourself up for failure.
What’s Next in June
Not any big plans. There are of course a ton of local events to try this month from seeing a play, the Chalk Festival, Denver Flea that I’ll be kept pretty busy around town!
Great pics
Well done!
