June was a busy month! First there were epic paintball battles! And then it was ladies' paint night with the girls! And then it was my trip to Panama.... Travel Panama has been on my wishlist for a while, as I heard they had great beaches and good snorkeling! I decided on a longer trip that also went to parts of Costa Rica I hadn't been to before. This was the first time I tried not to have everything planned and instead go with the flow! Highlights Going clubbing for the first time! Relaxing views like this one! And it

As a child I wanted to grow up and be a Librarian (well and a paleontologist or Indiana Jones!) As I just loved books! I would go to a few book stores on each trip, mainly to purchase more to read as I would have gone through all of the books I brought (thank god for the Kindle...no more separate bag just for books!) And god help me if I had only brought a few in a series...and it finished on a cliffhanger! I remember many frustrating trips

A few years ago I fulfilled a childhood dream of going to Hogwarts. I had already learned from Pottermore that I was sorted into Ravenclaw. For years I had thought myself Gryffindor but realized my mistake and found my home in the Claws. So I dutifully got myself my House gear when I went to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Here I am dressed in my Ravenclaw robes, sweater, and tie for Halloween 2012 I'm your typical Ravenclaw student, I love learning so much I have a Time Turner! Souvenir Saturday is an every-other week series on

Souvenir Saturday: Chocolate Frogs

Which Card Will You Get? Chocolate Frogs are an iconic snack from the Harry Potter books. They also are a great souvenir from the Wizard World of Harry Potter in Orlando, FL. I was a little worried as I had two issues when purchasing these. Firstly, it was August, and hot, and I worried that the chocolate would melt. The other issue is that you don't know what card you are going to get. At the time there were just 4 cards, one for each founder. The first few boxes I got were for Salazar Slytherin. I
