In a world where we can have almost anything on demand, Fine Art is something still out of reach for many people. That is why I've been fascinated by so-called "Art Vending Machines", but had yet to see one in person. So when I heard about Blue Chipped an exhibit at Understudy in Downtown Denver, I had to check it out. I’m sitting inside this blue kiosk downtown from 4-8 pm TODAY 💙serving up mini $20 paintings and 1 trillion calories of free blue candy and hot teas... you should come say hi to me through the kiosk windows! 💙💙🍭💙💙🍵💙💙🍭💙💙🍵💙💙🍭 A

Dinos After Dark at the Denver Zoo

I had been meaning to see the Dinosaur Exhibit at the Denver Zoo for months. But never made it. So when I realized it was closing after Halloween I got myself in gear! I visited it at night, during the Dinos After Dark Halloween lights event. I'd highly recommend seeing it during this event. I was amused at this one in front of "Bird World", its a utahraptor.

Local Haunts: Banjo Billy’s Ghost Bus

By |October 11th, 2016|Categories: Attractions & Sights, Local, Travel|Tags: , , , , , , , , , , |0 Comments

Source: Vince Darcangelo Another one of my Halloween traditions is to take Banjo Billy's Ghost Tour in Boulder. This is all about the experience. The bus is made of wood, and inside are an eclectic mix of seats. (While the saw-horse is a novelty, it is not comfy enough to sit in on the entire ride.)  The decor is also very mixed with christmas lights, buttons, tassels, disco balls, and other kitschy decorations hot glued here and there. The horn has a mixture of sounds from a cat-call like whistle to the sound of a barking dog.
